Keynote Speaker:

Ulla de Stricker - The Habit of Leading 101

You - yes you - have it in you to enhance your career through acts of leadership!

Toronto Chapter members have previously had the benefit of Ulla de Stricker's down to earth tips for professional success. This time, Ulla delivers her encouraging message that "everyone can be a leader - in his or her own way, regardless of the title and position". Being realistic about the hesitation many have about what they may perceive as "sticking the neck out", Ulla shows us how to turn our innate strengths into means by which we can exercise leadership and provides examples to reassure that indeed, being a leader is neither scary nor aggressive: In fact, it is rewarding and fulfilling ... not to mention career-enhancing! Attendees will ...

 look at the relationship between leadership and other typically embraced qualities such as responsibility and creativity
 connect their own observations and experience to the simple principles of leadership
 be exposed to practical illustrations of scenarios in which to lead - from "I can do it tomorrow" to "that will be a stretch, but I can see myself doing it"
 be challenged to acknowledge and communicate their own achievements in leadership

Dessert Topic Speakers:

Andrew Smith, Co Partner - The Vintage Conservatory (Private Cellars and Social Club)

The Vintage Conservatory is a dedicated and premium Private Wine Storage Facility and Social Network. A place where members can store their wine collection in their own personal locker, entertain friends and clients, and meet other members who share the love of wine. Great wines are delicate, while others need a perfect environment to become great over time. Members cellar their collections at The Vintage Conservatory knowing that utmost care has been taken in creating a perfect environment through high-tech climate control, temperature, humidity, insulation, strategic air circulation, and the very latest in security measures. Their Private Downtown Toronto Location offers close proximity to the downtown core and financial district.
